What is this Tagging?
The idea is that you come up with 11 questions
and then tag 11 people. Those 11 people will answer all 11 questions, then come
up with a set of their own 11 questions to give to the 11 people they decide to
tag. And then this process repeats itself over and over again.
Here are the rules for this game:
- You must post the rules.
- Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post and then create eleven new questions to ask the people you've tagged.
- Tag eleven people and link them on your post.
- Let them know you've tagged them!
So Doodle asked us some questions, I hope you're ready for our answers!
1. What is your favorite Dr. Seuss book and why?
Jenn: How can I pick just one? He has s many awesome books. Maybe How the Grinch Stole Christmas, since we did a musical fo it in high school, I also love Fox in Sock, I mean, it's a fox in socks, what's not to love?
Meghan: Hmm, that is definitely a tough one, asking someone their favorite book is almost cruel, it is so hard to pick haha. How the Grinch stole Christmas (I played Max in a school play hehe) or Green Eggs & Ham.
2. Physical books, E-books, or Audio Books?
Jenn: Well, all have their perks. I do like having physical books, they look great on my shelf and are great for reading, if I'm at home. I like my ereader a lot though because it's easier to use while doing chores, like stuffing and folding diapers..lol, and easier to take when we go visiting. Sometimes I find myself wishing I had some Audio books to listen to while I'm playing games.. or doing something else on the computer. So I guess I like them all depending on the situation.
Meghan: I much much prefer print books. I love the smell of books, the feeling of books in my hand, and the look of a full bookshelf to much to choose e-book over print book. I don't mind reading e-books though, and they can come in handy in certain situations, but if given the choice I will always choose print. As for Audio books, I haven't tried one yet, but I've been wanting to! It would be like being read to, and that's awesome :)
3. If you could trade places with any character out of a book, who would it be and why?
Jenn: Hmm, going to have to say Hermione, since I want to go to Hogwarts! (Although maybe I'd prefer to be Ginny since she marries Harry)
Meghan: Another tough one! I would either pick Arwen from The Lord of the Rings, because I just love elves, they have a beauty, grace, and wisdom that is impossible not to envy, and who wouldn't want to live in middle earth?! And I'd get to be Elrond's daughter :)
4. What song or artist are you loving at the moment? List a few if you want!
Jenn: *crickets* I'm not really sure what's new. I don't listen to music much, but I always love the Black Eyed Peas!
Meghan: I've recently found myself listening to a lot of dub-step, ya like everyone else right now haha. But my music preferences are very wide, I pretty much like everything, except country, and most rap, and that stuff where they scream and it sounds like their faces are going to
explode..
5. What is your favorite quote from a book you read recently?
Jenn: I haven't really had any jump out at me lately. So here is a quote from the book I'm currently reading, which is Halflings by Heather Burch. "Raven had watched with the interest of an alligator waiting for a victim to pass by."
Meghan: does it have to be one I read recently? cause there is one quote from The Game of Thrones in The Song of Fire and Ice series that I just love so much. "Never forget who you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength and it will never be your weakness. Armor yourself in it and it will never be used to hurt you."- Tyrion Lannister
6. What book genre best describes you?
Jenn: Non-Fiction because I'm boring.
Meghan: I guess I would pick Fantasy, paranormal, cause I am constantly wishing all these things were real. Who wouldn't want there to be wizards and elves and werewolves and all those awesome things?!
7. What is the most rewarding thing about blogging for you?
Jenn: Meeting lots of awesome people, and having an excuse for buying lots of great books!
Meghan: I love all the people you meet, I love getting to know authors, I love sharing my thoughts on books with others and getting their feedback on the same book. I could just talk about books all day long, so blogging is just really fun for me :)
8. Who is your favorite author and why?
Jenn: JK Rowling and Jean M Auel because both of them wrote amazing series that I have reread over and over.
Meghan: J.R.R Tolkien, for writing the most amazing story in the world. And, Stephen King, I'm a massive Stephen King fan, and have been for a very long time! Much love for the King of writing :)
9. What is your ultimate comfort food meal?
Jenn: Poutine!! And Twizzlers, but not together, that would be gross..
Meghan: Honestly, fruit. I can sit and eat an entire honey dew melon or pineapple in one sitting. Mmmmm fruit. I also love really salty things, like Pretzels and nuts.
10. What is your favorite 2012 release so far?
Jenn: It's not out in stores yet, but will be shortly, Starters by Lisa Price, it's awesome!!
Meghan: My favorite release of 2012 so far is Resurrection by A.M Hargrove, it's really really great and I can't wait for the next book in the series!
11. Can you recommend a book or books to me?
Jenn: Starters, since it's amazing! And the Earth's Children series by Jean M. Auel, I love that series..lol
Meghan: Oh, I could recommend TONS! But, I'm currently reading the wolves of mercy falls series, and I've completely fallen in love with it. If you haven't read it yet, I strongly suggest you do! <3

Anyways, we're not going to tag anyone *gasp* We don't get much free time and looking for people to tag and contacting them is actually quite time consuming, we'd rather read in our spare time.
I loved your responses to my music question!
ReplyDeleteJenn: I don't listen to newer music either. Just whatever I happen to find on Pandora and like...then I buy all of the CDs by that band. Horrible habit.
Meghan: I agree with you on question 6! I would love to be some sort of paranormal being.
Thanks for participating!!
Yeah, when I hear newer music it's on the radio, and I only listen to it in the car, and since I almost never go anywhere... I have no idea whats out :P
DeleteGreat interview! You ladies are so fun!
ReplyDeleteI have such a hard time picking "favorites" when it comes to books, music, etc. I have way too many that I like!
Thanks!
DeleteFavorites are hard to pick, for books my favorites are the ones I pick up and read over and over. For music, it has to be something I can dance to, terribly..
