Teaser Tuesday (56)

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by  MizB at Should Be Reading

To Participate you:
-Grab your current read
-Open to a random page
-Share two 'teaser' sentences from somewhere on that page
-BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS

This week's teaser comes from:

The Last Vampire

Author: Christopher Pike

GoodReads

Teaser:

Truly, violence does beget violence, at least for a vampire - nothing quite satisfies as does the sight of blood, except for the taste of it.

My Thoughts: I am kind of a sucker for vampire books =P. Especially ones where the Vampires are actually powerful and kind of scary haha :). I think I will like this book from what I've read so far!

  1. Sounds good. I haven't read anything by Christopher Pike though I have seen his books around. Come see my teasers for Pivot Point by Kasie West and Three Sisters by Susan Mallery. Happy reading!

  2. I haven't read anything by him either. I remember his books being very popular when I was in my teens and I'm glad to see he is still writing. One day I'll have to give him a go :)

  4. Wow, what an excellent teaser. I'm as big into vampire books as you seem to be, but this teaser actually tempted me!

  5. Gosh, I haven't read anything by Christopher Pike in YEARS... Not since his books were first published! It's interesting to see these re-released with new covers. The original covers were SO different back then. Great teaser!

    Here's my TEASER TUESDAYS post.
