My Thoughts: I am enjoying this book, that is kind of about people with abilities that seem supernatural but really aren't. I guess it's hard to explain but it makes for a pretty interesting read!

The air in the corridor was stifling. She felt as though she wasn't so much walking through the hot, stuffy atmosphere as wading through it. She pushed on, sensitive in a kind of psychic resistance that was telling her to turn back. This only made made her more determined to go through with this. What did they think she was, human? Only mortals would give in to such a shoddy psychic tug. It was insulting.

My Thoughts: I'm only into the very beginning of the story, but I find myself already liking the main character and eager to learn more about her world. :)

My Thoughts: So far I'm not enjoying this one as much as Great Expectations, but it does have it's moments and bursts of really great writing so I am pushing through and enjoying the good moments as them come :).

She turns her head, Bailey catches her eye, and she smiles at him. Not in the way that one smiles at a random member of the audience when one is in the middle of performing circus tricks with unusually talented kittens but in the way that one smiles when one recognizes someone they have not seen in some time. Bailey can tell the difference, and the fact that she remembers who he is makes him inexplicably and utterly pleased.

My Thoughts: I am finally reading this book! I have been wanting to read this since before it was released. But other books and life gets the way sometimes. But I am seriously loving it! :D

I yawned and stretched, then told the ghost in my room that I needed a little break. It was lilac colored, had seemed to be pulsating quickly all night, like a rabbit-heart bared, still beating. When I tried to look directly at it, it made itself invisible.

My Thoughts: I picked this book up at  a second hand store firstly because the unique and beautiful cover really caught my eye. Then I found a quote from Stephen King on the back boasting about how great this book was. And that was enough for me haha, I was sold. It's been sitting on my shelf for a while and I'm glad to finally be reading it because I'm really really enjoying it! Gotta love random finds :)
